California College San Diego, a leading provider of on-campus career-focused higher education in the State of California, has expanded its School of Technology to include two new bachelor’s degree programs, Software and Mobile Applications Development and Networking and Information Systems Security.
Both bachelor’s degree programs take three years to complete and are available at the California College San Diego campuses in San Diego, San Marcos, and National City and online through its affiliated institution, Independence University.
“California College San Diego is committed to expanding its programs to meet community needs and we are excited to add these two new programs to our campuses,” said Ken Webb, campus director of California College San Diego. “The information technology sector is significantly growing and there are a variety of unique career paths available in this field. We are preparing graduates to be at the forefront of technology.”
The Networking and Information Systems Security degree prepares computer science professionals to manage database systems, client interface platforms and information security. Graduates pursue careers as network administrators, project managers, systems analysts and security experts.
The Software and Mobile Applications Development degree teaches students the essentials of computer applications software. The program will prepare graduates to analyze user needs, develop software solutions and design or customize software for clients. Graduates can pursue careers as software engineers, software developers, Web developers, mobile application developers, and data analysts.
