When researching colleges, the word accreditation comes up all the time. Every one says that it’s important, but what does it actually mean? And more importantly, why does it matter?
To understand what accreditation means, just think of accreditation as a watchdog for the educational system. It ensures that the school or program lives up to the promises it makes to its students. Accreditation does extensive evaluations for you.
