At California College San Diego, the primary role of Career Services is to assist students in launching their careers in Southern California or beyond. We begin early in your program, helping you to prepare yourself to be a professional. Our goal is to help you start and expand your career using the skills and training you developed at our college. We can even help students get a job to help make ends meet while they are in school.

We’re here to help you advance your career—faster! All our locations provide a Career Services office where students and graduates can receive individualized employment assistance. If you need a job while you’re still in college, we can help with that too.1
Right from the start of your program, we’ll help you get ready for your career. You can participate in career development classes and seminars, career fairs, and mock interviews with real employers. We can help you obtain additional certifications in your field—and we can even help pay for them.2
When it’s time to look for jobs in your field, you can get help to create a professional résumé and a portfolio showcasing your achievements. You can learn networking and social-media strategies. We’ll assist you in finding career opportunities and job leads. We’ll show you how to ace job interviews and come across as a true professional.
After you graduate, you can continue getting assistance from Career Services. At any time, we can help you update your résumé and refresh your interviewing, networking, and job-search skills. As a graduate, you can even retake classes from your degree free of charge!
