At California College San Diego, the primary role of Career Services is to assist you in launching your career in southern California or beyond. We begin early in your program, helping you prepare yourself to become a professional. Our goal is to help you start and expand your career, using the skills and training you developed at our college. We can even help you find a job to make ends meet while you’re in school.
Career Services is here to help you individually to enhance your career and find employment in the field for which you trained. Your Career Services advisor will work with you one-on-one to help you make informed decisions about your career and identify employment opportunities that are right for you. As a CCSD student, this benefit is yours to enjoy at any time, even after you graduate,
at no additional cost.
Draft, edit, and polish your résumé with the assistance of your Career Services advisor. Your advisor will help you learn what to include and what to leave out, as well as how to impress potential employers and persuade them to call you for an interview.
Job interviews can be nerve-wracking. We help take the stress out of the process by preparing you for all the toughest questions. We’ll work with you individually to help boost your confidence and your skills until you get the job offer. We’ll even teach you how to negotiate for a better salary!
