Top 10 Reasons: VA Education Benefits
California College San Diego is committed to helping you find a
better job and higher paying salary
GI BILL
If you are a veteran and would like to use your education
benefits, simply visit the military education specialist at
your campus and you’ll be on your way!
Programs at California College San Diego are approved by the Utah State
Approving Agency to participate in GI Bill/VA Education
Benefits. If you are a veteran or other eligible person,
California College San Diego will help you through the process to receive
all benefits for which you qualify. For information about how
to use your GI Bill education benefits call an enrollment
advisor today at 1-800-622-3188.
Using your VA education benefits with us is simple; just
bring in your DD-214 (Certificate of Release or Discharge from
Active Duty). If you have already applied to use your benefits
before, you may also bring in your Certificate of Eligibility
(form 22-0557). Your campus military specialist will help you
fill out all of the necessary applications and forms to get
started.
If you are a VA student, you will need to pay for the
entire program or apply for financial aid. You are able to
collect full time pay reimbursement from the VA if you
complete your course in the allotted time. The amount of your
reimbursement from the VA is based on the time you take to
complete each course. Courses are certified monthly, and pay
is based on the time for completion or training time. The VA
will pay you directly once the certification is submitted and
processed.
